The Valley Eruv is in the unique position of being nestled between a network of Southern California freeways. We utilize their sound walls and fencing, in addition to poles and monofilament lines, to complete our eruv. We are bound by the 101, 405, 118, 5, and 170 freeway systems as seen below. Because the great majority of the Orthodox community is situated in the southeast corner of the eruv boundaries, few tend to realize just how vast an area it covers.
